A stunning piece of vintage and mid century furniture in a oak cabinet by G plan furniture. The chest of drawers consists of a single top drawer with the drawer having superb dove tail jointing and offering excellent storage within the drawer there are two teak dividers that form three separate storage compartments, to the drawer front there are two oak pull handles. Below there is a cupboard with two oak doors with oak pull handles, inside there is a single removable shelf that forms two large storage areas while to the base the cabinet sits on a super stylized base with oak splayed legs and cross stretchers running in between. The cabinet has been hand crafted by G Plan furniture and has the gold embossed E Gomme logo on the inside of the right door, the cabinet comes from their first range of furniture called Brandon range released in 1953 and designed by Victor Bramwell Wilkins. The cabinet is a stunning and genuine piece of vintage and mid century furniture that looks amazing with a wonderful look and styling and super proportions that would suit any home or environment

Condition The chest is in superb condition and has been lovingly restored, sanded back to the original wood then French polished and waxed to help preserve the beautiful light colour.
