An amazing piece of mid century and vintage furniture in an industrial shelving cabinet. The bookcase consists of a metal frame with two sides and with two cross stretchers in an X design running in between, there are two further cross stretchers in the same design at the back of the shelves that add support and strength to the shelving unit. Running in between each side there are five metal shelves that are fully adjustable. The cabinet has come from a hardware shop from the 1970s and was used on a regular basis and has the lovely patina of a cabinet that has been used and loved, there are spots of rust and scratches consummate with the age and use of the shelves but the cabinet has been given a fresh coat of green that seals all the history in. The unit is so practical and can be used as a bookcase, display cabinet or to store your vinyl collection and music system. The cabinet has a wonderful look and is also a genuine piece of industrial furniture that would suit any home or environment.
